The International Coalition for Addiction Studies Education (INCASE) is a professional association founded in 1990 that unites individuals specializing in addiction studies. Through the collective help of professors, teachers, professionals, and programs, we broaden our understanding of substance use disorders and addiction. We have over 140 years of combined experience in addiction studies.
Our organization works with individuals who specialize in the following:

MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS
  • Individual: $50
  • Institutional - Up to 10 Faculty (For institutions with up to 10 faculty members (core, adjunct, etc.). All must have same institutional email domain (e.g., name@institution.edu): $250
  • Institutional - 11+ Faculty (For institutions with more than 10 faculty members (core, adjunct, etc.). All must have same institutional email domain (e.g., name@institution.edu): $500
  • Retired Member (For retired addiction educators): $25
  • Student (For current post-secondary students. Copy of student ID required): $25

MISSION

Our mission is to function as an international addiction studies organization; to disseminate professional knowledge and share ideas regarding addiction studies curricula; to conduct international conventions and regional seminars and conferences to provide members with educational opportunities; to encourage and promote ongoing research and scholarship in the field of addiction studies; to develop standards and to work with the National Addiction Studies Accreditation Commission to develop standards for an accreditation process for competent and comprehensive addiction studies education providers; to explore related funding sources and opportunities; promote scholarship in addiction studies and discussion of reciprocity of programs within and between nations, states, and provinces; and to develop liaisons with other organizations providing related educational services or who have related interests.
